Description

The llaüt is the Mediterranean boat par excellence. It is a work of art, the culmination of hundreds of years of tradition. The Mar i Cel is a llaüt handcrafted from native wood by one of the best carpenters in Ribera de Mallorca (in Mallorquin, “Mestre d'aixa”).

Captain Miguel Taberner, born in Mallorca, Professional Patron and Telecommunications Technical Engineer. Passionate about the sea and great connoisseur of the history and curiosities that the Bay of Palma contains.

Routes to the west

Towards the West of the Bay, we can see the city of Palma from the
sea, where the Cathedral and the Bellver Castle emerge as
protagonists. We will pass through the port of Palma , which has
some of the best yacht clubs and we will be able to see the
largest and most luxurious yachts in the world.
A few miles away we will reach Lletas, where we can always anchor safely and calmly.
Next we will pass through Puerto de Portals (one of the most luxurious in the world), and
further west, Punta Negra, Cala Viñas and Cala Portals Vells, with three beaches
with a sandy bottom and transparent waters.

Routes to the east

If we go east, we will sail parallel to Playa de Palma , and
we will pass through Son Verí, where we will enter the Green Cave and
we will be able to jump from the imposing cliffs.
We will sail towards the Cap Enderrocat marine reserve.
We will visit sea caves, inaccessible virgin beaches like Cala Vella, and a multitude of small corners
of the coast with turquoise waters and white sand.
