Description

Portocolom - Traditional port and virgin coves

Portocolom , located on the east coast of Mallorca, is one of the largest and most picturesque natural ports on the island. Known for its charm as a fishing village, its colored houses next to the dock and an authentic atmosphere, this enclave offers a unique nautical experience.

His bay, in the form of semicircle and protected from the wind, allows a quiet and safe navigation. In addition, it has a good offer of restaurants, terraces and shops in front of the sea, which makes it a perfect place to start a boat excursion.

📍 Cies and close beaches recommended

  • Cala Marçal
less than 500 m from the port, is the best known beach in the area. Fine sand and calm waters, it is ideal for swimming and anchoring.
  • S'arenal Gran and S'arenal Petit
two small coves in the Peninsula next to the port. Less busy and perfect for a quiet stop.
  • Cala sa nau
surrounded by pine forests, is a strain of crystalline waters and rocky background, much appreciated to snorkel. It is about 4 km from the port.
  • Cala Brafí
a small rocky, hidden and rare coves. Of natural beauty and local environment, ideal for those who seek privacy.
  • Cala varques
somewhat further away, it is a virgin cove accessible mainly by boat. Its natural environment, sea caves and turquoise waters make it a jewel of the Mallorcan coast.
